The ongoing communication that occurs between employees and management should provide a clear understanding of expectations, followed up by check-ins during the year, and a final assessment at the end of the cycle. LHRD assists supervisors and managers with performance management consultation.
Library non-academic staff are appraised once a year for the preceding fiscal year period. As a cycle that continues throughout the year, effective performance management aligns the efforts of managers/supervisors and employees with department and campus objectives. This process promotes consistency in performance reviews, and motivates all employees to perform at
their best.
We provide more information about performance management on our site to help our employees better understand and move more effectively through three phases of the performance management cycle. These phases include Planning, Check-in, and Review.
