The library has over 600 student employees working in the libraries and library departments across campus. Students can work in subject specific libraries such as music or physics in departments, or at the Northern Regional Library Facility in Richmond. Supervisors know students are here to go to school and try their best to work around class and exam schedules.
Many of the jobs have specific requirements; language skills is one example or graphics knowledge is another, browse the open positions and see what appeals to you or offers you a chance to learn something new.
Library student employment guides students into jobs that fit their interests, hours, and career path. The student employment coordinator also aids supervisors in finding the best fit for the job requirements they have posted.
