Assembly of the Dossier
The dossier will be saved as a PDF document. Google Doc and Microsoft word documents can be saved directly to PDF format and edited within Adobe Acrobat.
Adobe Acrobat, and all other Adobe applications are available on both personal and university-owned devices and can be downloaded at the Software@Berkeley website.
Electronic signatures may be added to the PDF in Adobe Acrobat. Electronic signature instructions can be found here, under the "Steps to Sign a PDF" section.
The cover page of your dossier should Include your full name, your rank, type of review, and review period.
Organize your materials with pages dividing contents of your dossier. For example, include a table of contents and pages separating required and relevant documentation in your dossier such as self-evaluation, RI evaluation and AUL/Director comments, confidential external letters of support, biography for academic personnel and/or CV, forms, documentation checklist, and certification statement.

Proofread everything you submit.
Save a copy of everything that you submit in your dossier for your future reference.
