Withdrawal policy & procedures: withdrawing related records

This document describes the process for withdrawing properly linked related records in Alma, that is, two or more records that describe the resource(s) in one physical volume and that are linked via a host bibliographic record.

The document also addresses the process of withdrawing multiple records that describe the resource(s) in one physical volume but that are not linked through a host bibliographic record, such as records for unlinked analytics.

Reinstating withdrawn items

Items that are missing are declared lost and withdrawn after multiple searches. Sometimes these items are later recovered (either returned or found in the stacks). This document describes steps to take if a selector determines that the recovered copy should be reinstated.
