At the UC Berkeley Library, love is all around us, swirling in the stacks, infused in the archives, and embedded in the services we provide every day.
And for Valentine’s Day, we wanted to capture some of that love and send it to you.
Check out these one-of-a-kind Valentine’s Day cards, created using historical gems from The Bancroft Library’s collections. (Hint: You can find all these treasures, and many more, on the Library’s jam-packed Digital Collections website.)
Each card captures the whimsy and romantic nostalgia of yesteryear, drawing upon Bancroft’s Walter Robert and Gail Lynn Kransky collection of Edward H. Mitchell postcards and other materials.
