  1. AnnouncementsLisa referred to the email recently distributed by Rico Estrada that instructed selectors not to use Gobi to purchase MVMs and serials. She added that Gobi also should not be used to order additional copies and replacement copies. Jo Anne announced that the Scholarly Resources Strategies librarian position will be posted soon and will be an internal search only.

  2. Selector-Liaison Working Group final report Jennifer thanked Stacy Reardon, Celia Emmelhainz, and Becky Miller for their contributions to this Working Group. She summarized salient points from the report and noted that the recommendations included give primary responsibility for maintaining and improving the SLM to the future Scholarly Resources Strategies librarian and CSC.

  3. CDL ebook packages and GOBI - Cambridge University PressJo Anne informed CSC that CDL will work with GOBI to have Cambridge University Press purchases reflected in Gobitween so that we know what ebooks we will be receiving. Efforts will be made to do this with other vendors.

  4. Assessment Conference Jo Anne's and Chan's reports on the assessment conference were postponed until a future meeting.

  5. Faculty use of foreign language materials projectChan shared the presentation that she and Susan Edwards gave at the ARL Assessment Conference on the findings of this research project conducted by Social Sciences Division librarians.

  6. Update from Binding Guidelines Working GroupThe working group is addressing four areas, one of which is updating PRES procedures.

The group has written draft guidelines for CoLibri criteria, housing criteria, and procedures for binding slip replacement.

Work on the other areas will be shared at the next CSC meeting.
