  1. Announcements

    1. Monica Youn will read at Lunch Poems today at noon (S. Peterson)

    2. A Library Carpentry workshop, open to all, will take place in the D-Lab (356 Barrows Hall) on December 16 & 17 (S. Peterson)

    3. Save the Date for The Languages of Berkeley exhibit reception sponsored by AHD & BLC: Wednesday, February 5, 5-7pm in Morrison Library (C. Potts)

    4. Samantha Teremi will join the Arts & Humanities Division next week as the new Evening and Weekend Circulation Supervisor in the Art History/Classics Library (A. Scheel)

    5. Emelia Grounds has been hired as Acquisitions and Curatorial Support Coordinator in The Bancroft Library (D. Faulds)

    6. Resources Acquisitions Librarian interviews are on Wed. 11/20 (to be rescheduled) and Fri. 11/22 (C. Potts)

  1. Presentation and discussion of Arts and Humanities proposals for library-wide strategic collection development funding

Brief presentations were delivered in the following order for 16 resources which together exceeded $500K - the total amount allocated to the three councils:

Following the same procedures as last year, Arts & Humanities Council will be sent a link to an online form for ranking the proposals to be completed before Monday 11/10. The results will inform CDLG's discussion of the proposals the following day.
