About
Wharton Research Data Service (WRDS) is a comprehensive source of financial, accounting, economic, management, marketing, banking, and insurance data. Includes extensive historical financial data from CRSP and COMPUSTAT covering over 30,000 companies and including security prices and trading volume, income and balance sheet items.
Restrictions
WRDS use is generally restricted to faculty and graduate students in Berkeley's Business and Economics departments. Exceptions can be made for those with legitimate academic need outside those departments. Click on the link, choose "Register," and if you qualify, a password will be sent by email.
