Center for Community Action and Environmental Justice
The Center for Community Action and Environmental Justice is a non-profit organization which serves as a resource center for community groups working on environmental justice issues. The site lists upcoming events, projects of the Center's, and links to other environmental justice organizations.

Communities for a Better Environment
CBE provides grassroots activism, environmental research, and legal assistance in promoting clean air and water and the development of toxin-free communities in California.

Environmental Health Coalition
"Environmental Health Coalition (EHC) is a grassroots, non-profit environmental justice organization, based in San Diego that is dedicated to the prevention and cleanup of toxic pollution threatening our health, our communities and our environment."
Building Healthy Communities from the Ground Up: Environmental Justice in California is the result of discussions between environmental justice organizations in California to explore environmental conditions in the state’s most impacted communities, and develop policy recommendations to address these issues.

Environmental Justice Resource Center at Clark Atlanta University
The EJRC is a "research, policy, and information clearinghouse on issues related to environmental justice, race and the environment, civil rights, facility siting, land use planning, brownfields, transportation equity, suburban sprawl, and Smart Growth." Their web site includes many full text books and other publications, as well as news and events listings.
Environmental Justice in the 21st Century, a history of the environmental justice movement, including relevant policy issues and future directions.

U.S. EPA. Office of Environmental Justice
This site provides links to the National Environmental Justice Advisory Council's (NEJAC) information and publications, as well as the Interagency Working Group on Environmental Justice, which is chaired by the EPA. Also has news and grant information.

Towards Environmental ustice: Research, Education, and Health Policy Needs (Institute of Medicine, 1999)
This book addresses the medical and health issues that are raised by the concept of environmental justice, the suitable roles of basic research and medicine in addressing these issues, and the priorities for medical research that would facilitate improvements in the current situation.
