December 2011 introduction of the initiative from University Librarian Tom Leonard, principles for the process, and charges to the Library's self-study groups.

The Timeline

January 2012 - April 2012: Library self-study teams investigate options, develop viable approaches, and make recommendations
May 2012: Campus comment period through online survey and meetings.
Summer 2012: Library development of vision and implementation plan with further feedback from faculty advisors.
Fall, 2012: University Librarian Tom Leonard will lead further faculty engagement on plans and issue an Outcome Letter.
